Portal 2 gave me an opportunity to return to the Source engine, 3 years since Rive. This series of chambers is a test on Portal 2 mechanics, trying to study pacing and mechanics introduction to players, using faith plates and mirror cubes to get new players a better understanding of navigation within the game.

As such, it focuses on problem solving rather than navigation skills, and allows players to pace along comfortably by progressively introducing new ways to play with the different game mechanics.
